Music Program

"Music speaks to the soul on a level that words can never parallel."

Our Music Program is a thriving part of our church and our weekly worship experience. We offer a variety of groups and opportunities for all ages.

Adult Choir

We would love for you to come and check out our Adult Choir! We have a great time learning exciting music and cutting up. We meet each Wednesday at 6:30 pm in the Choir Room.

Handbell Choir

Our Bell Choir rehearses at 5:30 on Wednesdays in the Sanctuary. "But I've never played bells before!" Not a problem, they are very easy to pick up on, even if you have a minimal music reading ability, we have a place for you!

Children's Choir

We look forward to beginning Children's Choir again during hte 2010-2011 school year once we have a Director of Music Ministries. Until that time, the children share in singing during our weekly Children's Church, and share in occasional singing in the worship services.

Praise Band

Our praise band is second to none and we are always looking for people excited to play and sing with us. We usually practice after the adult choir at 7:30 on Wednesday nights. If you are interested in joining the praise band, please email the church office, at churchoffice@fumcsweetwater

Youth Praise Band

Contact Kristen Perkins if you are interested in playing or singing in this group.

Regular practice times TBA.

Special Music

If you play an instrument, have a band or musical group, or want to sing a solo, we want you to share with us! We usually have soloists or some type of special music twice a month. Contact the Church Office if you would like to do this!
